What

Following the success of our popular weekly clubs, The Little Makery is returning this autumn with a brand new series of Weekly Art & Design Clubs for children in Years 1 - 6. Our weekly clubs give children the opportunity to really get to know a medium and develop their technical skills and confidence. 

During the autumn term, we’ll be exploring the fabulous world of paper crafts. From the decorative techniques of marbling and shibori to sculpting paper clay and making miniature worlds, these clubs will change the way your young artist thinks about paper!

The clubs are taking place at St Matthew’s Primary School, Cambridge (map).

Who

The clubs are taught by qualified teacher and art specialist: Eilis Hanson together with teachers from our experienced team. Find out more in About Us.

We welcome children from schools and home-education settings across Cambridge and beyond. We continue to offer a limited number of FREE places to children who receive Pupil Premium funding.

When

Every Monday (Y3 to Y6) and Tuesday (Y1 to Y3) from 9th September to 17th December 2024, excluding w/c 28th October due to half term: 14 sessions in total.

• Paper Joy (Year 3* - Year 6): Every Monday from 9th September to 16th December: 3.30 - 4.30pm. 14 sessions in total.

• Paper Pals (Year 1 - Year 3*): Every Tuesday from 10th September to 17th December: 3.30 - 4.30pm. 14 sessions in total.

  *Please note we have made both weekly club slots open to children in Year 3.
